China: Jihadists hijack truck, kill driver, plough truck into crowd on sidewalk, and murder six people at random

But it's all right -- they were responding to decades of oppression, doncha know. "Ten die in Xinjiang knife attack, blast," by Peter Parks for AFP, July 31:
Ten people were killed in a knife attack and blast in China's ethnically-tense Xinjiang region at the weekend, state media and authorities said Sunday, in the latest bout of unrest to hit the area. A knife attack in the ancient Silk Road city of Kashgar on Saturday saw seven people killed and 28 hurt by two knife-wielding assailants.
One of the attackers was later killed in violence that erupted at a night market, government authorities said.
Hou Hanmin, spokeswoman for the government of the northwestern region, told AFP the attackers were both members of the mainly Muslim Uighur ethnic minority, adding the suspect who was still alive had been detained....
An explosion rocked city on Sunday, killing three people, including a police officer, and injuring three others, the official Xinhua news agency reported.
Police had already detained two suspects, Xinhua said, although it was not immediately clear what had caused the blasts....

Uh, maybe jihad?
According to tianshannet.com, a website run by the regional government, the suspects in Saturday's attack hijacked a truck that was waiting at a light at the food market in Kashgar, not far from the border with Kyrgyzstan. They killed the driver, ploughed the vehicle into passers-by on a nearby pavement, then got out of the truck and stabbed people at random, leaving six bystanders dead before the crowd turned on them and killed one attacker.
An English-language report from Xinhua said two blasts were heard before the incident, saying the first came from a minivan and the other was heard almost simultaneously and originated from the market....
Dilxat Raxit, a spokesman for the Germany-based World Uyghur Congress -- an exile group -- cited local sources as saying the assailants had clashed with members of a civilian force that maintains public security.
"This incident is hard to believe but must be addressed. Beijing should accept the responsibility that repression triggered this incident," he said.

Of course. It is never the responsibility of the jihadists or their allies. And as always, it is a response to oppression -- although ironically, we never seem to see this kind of behavior from the non-Muslims who suffer oppression in Muslim societies such as Egypt, Pakistan and Indonesia:
Many Uighurs are unhappy with what they say has been decades of political and religious repression, and the unwanted immigration of China's dominant Han ethnic group. While standards of living have improved, Uighurs complain that most of the gains go to the Han.
This tension has triggered sporadic bouts of violence in Xinjiang -- a vast, arid but resource-rich region bordering Central Asia, home to more than eight million Turkic-speaking Uighurs.
Earlier this month, more than 20 people were killed in a violent clash with police in the remote city of Hotan.
State media quoted an official in Xinjiang as saying that clash was a "terrorist" attack, adding that four people including a police officer were killed when a crowd set upon a police station.
But Uighur activists called it an outburst of anger by ordinary Uighurs and said security forces beat 14 people to death and shot dead six others during the unrest.

Here is a more realistic account of what happened there.
In the nation's worst ethnic violence in decades, Uighurs savagely attacked Han Chinese in the regional capital Urumqi in July 2009 -- an incident that led to retaliatory attacks by Han on Uighurs several days later. The government says around 200 people were killed and 1,700 injured in the violence, which shattered the authoritarian Communist Party's claims of harmony among the country's dozens of ethnic groups.
China threw a huge security clampdown onto Xinjiang after the violence, and many Uighurs are enraged by the arrests and alleged disappearances of people rounded up across the region in the aftermath....

Ah, even Uighurs play the victimhood game. Has Honest Ibe Hooper flown over to Xinjiang to give them lessons?

BULGARIA: Muslims try to take over the streets and get the c--p kicked out of them

Right Wing Ataka Party of Bulgarian patriots will not allow muslims to destroy their cities as they are doing in other parts of Europe. And if they can’t rely on the police to protect them, they will do it themselves.

Eastern Europeans have a much better way of dealing with the muslim problem in their countries than the rest of the world. They got rid of the communists and they will get rid of the islamists too.

BULGARIANS continue their courageous fight against the Islamization of their country

Daily use of eardrum shattering mosque loudspeakers and Muslim asslifters prostrating themselves in the streets, have resulted in Sofia’s Muslim community coming under attack when masked individuals stormed the Banya Bashi mosque and viciously assaulted the guard, leaving him in a pool of blood.

Sofia Echo -This latest act of desecration has escalated tensions after a previous attack on the mosque on May 20. Tensions erupted on May 20 when three (Right Wing party) Ataka supporters were arrested and one of the party’s MPs, Denitsa Gadzheva, was injured in the incident at the Banya Bashi mosque. The violence followed a protest by Ataka against the use of loudspeakers to broadcast the call to prayer.
This was the latest in a series of protests which started some years ago against the loudspeakers, but Ataka has revived its campaign in the run-up to Bulgaria’s autumn 2011 municipal and presidential elections, in which Ataka leader Volen Siderov has said he will stand as a presidential candidate. Scuffles broke out after one of the Ataka protesters tried to steer a column towards Muslims taking part in Friday prayers.
To prevent future incidents, the Sofia mosque was ordered to get new loudspeakers that will reduce noise levels on Friday prayers, chief mufti Hussein Hafuzov said, quoted by Bulgarian National Radio on June 6 2011.

Despite the gigantic size of this Sophia mosque, Muslim asslifters like to pray in the streets, blocking pedestrian traffic, and angering non-Muslims
People nearby have been complaining not only about the loud noise emanating from the speakers but also about traffic obstruction because of worshippers occupying pavements outside the mosque. Subsequently, the chief mufti promised that those worshippers who cannot find room in the mosque during Friday prayers will no longer be allowed to pray on pavements outside the temple, a bone of particular contention in the past.

BULGARIA: Another target of Islamic Infestation in the Balkans

Bulgarian authorities have rejected allegations that the October 6 2010 special operation against a Muslim group was anti-Islamic as raids on Muslim groups found material advocating religious hatred and overthrow of the constitutional order, as well as evidence of breaches of financial and tax laws.

NOVINITEBulgarian investigators are raiding Wednesday several houses in the Velingrad municipality in the search for extremist Islam propaganda materials, the Prosecutor’s Office in the southern city of Pazardzhik informs.
The raids are part of a large-scale police operation launched in Bulgaria aiming at halting the activities of the illegal branch of the radical Muslim Foundation Al Waqf al Islami. The operation is taking place in southern Bulgaria, in the regions of Pazardzhik,Blagoevgrad and Smolyan.
The spokesperson of the Pazardzhik Prosecutor’s Office told Darik radio they have started a pre-trial procedure against an alleged leader of a group in 2008-2009, which was plotting a coup in Bulgaria and forceful constitutional changes.
Al Waqf al Islami has at least 8 addresses in Bulgaria’s second largest city of Plovdiv, the Chair of the local Mosque Board of Trustees, Ashim Assan says, adding branches of the Foundation abound in southern Bulgaria. According to Assan, Al Waqf al Islami is affiliated with Al Queda and operates in Bulgaria since 1997.
“At the time, thanks to then Prime Minister, Ivan Kostov, and his wife’s Foundation “Future for Bulgaria,” radical Islam was able to settle in the country. Later, the Three-Way Coalition cabinet provided political cover-up, because Al Waqf al Islami sponsored one of their members – the ethnic Turkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS),” Assan stated.
The head of the right-wing Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB) in Plovdiv, Spas Garnevski, dismissed the above declarations as non-sense, saying Assan must seek psychiatric treatment.

Peaceful religion Kills again in the USA

Didnt Obama say Islam is a peaceful religion .. to whom ? the dead?

Our Muslim President, Barack Hussein Obama, tells us that Islam means "peace". In fact, the word Islam in Arabic means "submission". There is a worldwide campaign being launched by Muslim front organizations promoting Islam as a peaceful religion. Our government officials have bought into that idea even though there have been over 9,000 Muslim attacks on Western democracies since 911. We are even allowing a Mosque to be built at the 911 site in New York. It is time for Christians and Jews to rise up and eliminate this dangerous belief system from our midst!

Man sentenced to life for killing 5 family members

Prosecutors say he was angry they wouldn't convert to Islam

May 04, 2011
A man who was angry that his family would not go along with his conversion to Islam was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday in the slayings of his mother, pregnant wife, infant son and two nieces in a rampage last year on the South Side.
James A. Larry, 33, of Madison, Wis., pleaded guilty last month to multiple counts of murder, attempted murder and the intentional homicide of an unborn child.
The bald, bearded defendant issued a quiet apology in Judge James Linn's courtroom, as several surviving members of the family stood at a podium and clutched one another.
"I'm sorry for what I did to my family," Larry said, standing in a tan jail jumpsuit, his hands clasped behind his back. "I regret it every day, and I pray for them."
Family members chose not to submit victim-impact statements for the judge to consider and declined to speak after the hearing, telling a court liaison they were simply relieved the case was over.
Prosecutors said Larry came to Chicago in April 2010 bent on slaughtering his relatives at the home in the Marquette Park neighborhood. He had converted to Islam while serving a prison sentence in Wisconsin for a weapons conviction.
"He was upset at his wife and their family — he felt disrespected that they would not join his religion," Assistant State's Attorney Jim McKay said. "It didn't matter if they were young or old, pregnant or not. He wanted them dead."
The massacre began in the early morning hours April 14, at the family home in the 7400 block of South Mozart Street. Larry first shot his mother, Leona Larry, 57, as she slept on a sofa in the living room. He then went systematically through three first-floor bedrooms, fatally shooting his wife, Twanda Thompson, 19; his 7-month-old son, Jihad; his 3-year-old niece, Keleasha Larry; and his 16-year-old niece, Keyshai Fields, who was pregnant.
Larry also shot his 13-year-old nephew, Demond Larry, in the face, but the boy survived. The defendant then kicked in the bedroom door of a man who lived in the basement of the home and tried to shoot him, but no bullets fired, prosecutors said.
After Larry's 12-year-old niece awoke to the gunfire and saw her bloodied relatives, she ran out of the house. Larry chased her down the street and fired but missed, prosecutors said. The girl made it to a gas station and called her mom.
When Larry was arrested a short time later, he said to police that Allah told him to kill his family, according to court records. A police report quoted him as saying: "I wish I had more bullets. I wish I had more bullets."
Linn remarked in court that, based on the accounts of the defendant's erratic behavior, he expected to see some evidence of underlying psychiatric issues. But in the end, he said, "there were none."

By Reza Kahlili:

While America focuses on its internal problems and its involvement in three wars and the world focuses on the global economy, Iran is progressing on three dangerous fronts: nuclear weapons, armed missiles and naval capability.
Despite four sets of United Nations sanctions and pressure by the United States and Europe, Iran has chosen not only to continue its nuclear program but to expand it. Iran’s leaders, dominated by fanatical mullahs, announced in mid-July that the installment of faster centrifuges had begun and that they will soon triple the production of enriched uranium to 20 percent at the Fardo nuclear facility deep in the mountain near the city of Qom. It is estimated that Iran will have enough highly enriched uranium for one nuclear bomb within two months and currently has enough low-enriched uranium for three nuclear bombs.

Strict: Posters east London warn passers-by that they are entering a zone where Islamic rules are 'enforced'
Ministers have abandoned an inquiry into the rise of secretive Sharia councils that deal in Islamic justice – because the Muslim courts refused to help.
The failure of the Ministry of Justice probe has generated new fears among politicians and pressure groups about the increasing influence of Sharia courts.
They are worried the courts' decisions may run against the law of the land, particularly in divorce settlements for women.
The scrapping of the inquiry comes in a week when Islamic extremists have launched a campaign to declare 'Sharia-controlled zones' across Britain.
Hate preacher Anjem Choudary has claimed responsibility for the scheme, which has so far seen posters put on lampposts in several London boroughs declaring that within the 'zones' there should be 'no gambling', 'no music or concerts', 'no porn or prostitution', 'no drugs or smoking' and 'no alcohol'.
The Daily Mail has previously published photographs of Choudary in his student days breaking all but one of the zone laws – holding a cannabis joint, downing a pint of cider, playing cards and leering at porn.
But the abandonment of the Government's Sharia inquiry has fuelled fears that such radicals will be able to continue their intimidating activities unchecked.
The Ministry of Justice had launched an inquiry into the operation of Sharia courts in Britain because of rising fears that the secretive system has undue influence.
The number of Sharia courts here is unknown, although an estimate of 85 made by the Civitas think-tank in 2009 is widely accepted.

The failure of the Government's investigation was disclosed to MPs by Justice Minister Jonathan Djanogly.
He told Tory backbencher Kris Hopkins that before last year's general election his department acted to 'commission an exploratory study of Sharia councils in England with respect to family law'.
Mr Djanogly said: 'This identified a number of challenges to undertaking robust research in this area. The study was therefore limited and adds little to the evidence base.
'The findings cannot be regarded as a representative assessment of the operation of Sharia councils. Following expert peer review of the draft report, the Ministry of Justice decided not to publish the findings.'
A further statement to the Mail made it clear the 'challenges' researchers experienced boiled down to the Sharia courts failing to co-operate.

The Ministry of Justice said: 'The report was essentially an exploratory study which identified a number of challenges to undertaking more robust research.
'The challenges to undertaking more robust research were that the councils are generally run on a volunteer basis, were short staffed and very busy, so there were practical difficulties in speaking with respondents.
'There was also reluctance to discuss the private work of the councils and respondents were wary of the stereotypical ways in which their organisations were represented in the media.'
Sharia law is also under scrutiny in the Lords, where the independent peer Baroness Cox has tabled a Bill seeking to make it a crime for anyone to take over the rights of the state's criminal or family courts.

Liberalism is a disease and I have a stalker on Facebook. Her name is Vickie Lee Wall. She has called me names because I have my own views and I am running against Obama. I am wondering if this Vickie Lee Wall has the testicular fortitude to call my show but like many other big mouth liberals she won't.
Come on Vickie Lee Wall put your money where your mouth is and face the conservatives. You want to discuss this further call me on the air LIVE Tuesday if you have the guts to do it. Then again you liberals love to take away everyone else's freedom of speech and implement censorship on those who do not agree with you or comply to your theories.
So far this Stalker refuses to come on the show. We believe now she is many people, a legion or has many personalities since the style of writing changes from one to another, hence my theory of multiple personalities like Sybil or Norman Bates. Her/their response is below. However we will still talk on this issue of Obotts invading freedom of speech and Obama now after 40% expect Obama to punish public over debt-ceiling battle. My, MY, My the makings of a dictator/emperor/tyrant!
Also Code Pink and Move-on Organization plan to demonstrate in front of each Congressional office trying to force these representative to raise the debt ceiling so Obama can overspend and vacation in the style he got use to. Will this start civil disorder that Obama wants? And if it does, will Obama stop all elections and call for Martial law???????
Also Jobs.. are there jobs out there and are the ads for jobs false advertising? All and more on our I'm Listening America
"Vickie-Lee Wall
As opposed to you're suckling at the teat of FAUX news Billy? Really?

And the notion that responding to posts in a public forum makes me a "stalker" is ludicrous. I've made no effort to contact the lunatic offsite, nor have I looked for her elsewhere. SHE posted about her website and posted the link to her "radio show" to me -- I checked both out for a few minutes and haven't been back -- that's hardly "stalker" material.

Anyone who thinks someone posting in response to something you posted IN A PUBLIC FORUM is someone "stalking" them is freaking fruit loops.

I just piss her off because she spews lies and I counter them with facts.

As for "brain washed" ... yeah, reading something, and then looking for back-up/reference material to see if it's true or not before commenting -- real "brain washed" huh billy? When is the last time you bothered back-checking any of the malarky you post?

Leah -- you're the one behaving in a stalkerish manner. I don't post about you, or to you when you haven't posted. You started this thread and brought my name into it. I hadn't even been in this thread yet. At no point, at no time, in no location have I brought you up to anyone when you weren't already active in the thread involved.

So who's really the "stalker" here Leah? The person who simply responds to what someone else has actually posted -- or the one who brings someone else up and targets them personally when they start a new thread?

Why would I call into your pathetic little blog show? I listened to your lies and utter bull for about 5 minutes when you posted the link the other day -- and posted facts in the thread where you posted a link to invite me. Had I heard you say even ONE THING that rang true or wasn't straight out of the Koch-brothers paid talking points, I might be interested. But you didn't. You're just another nut who's jumped on the bandwagon of research nothing, know nothing, think nothing original but want to scream and yell and throw a tantrum anyway..... and you bore me.

And Billy -- "Pelosi crowd" -- really? What "talking points" blog did you get THAT from? I do my own research. When someone makes a claim about what's in a bill -- I actually look it up and go read the bill in question. When someone makes a claim about ANYTHING, I back-check, get the facts and form my own opinion. When's the last time you tried that?"

Poll shows majority want Washington to stop spending their children's money

Editor's note: This is another in a series of "WND/WENZEL POLLS" conducted exclusively for WND by the public-opinion research and media consulting company Wenzel Strategies.

A new scientific poll indicates that Americans by significant numbers want Washington to stop spending away the future, and a stunning 4 in 10 believe if the debt ceiling isn't raised, President Obama will punish the public with the way he allocates the hundreds of billions of dollars available.
The July 16-18 poll contacted 1,096 respondents through a telephone survey. The Wenzel Strategies project carries a margin of error of 2.93 percent.
It showed that 54.4 percent of the respondents believe the nation's fiscal situation should be fixed with cuts in government spending, while 21.4 percent say the debt ceiling should be raised so President Obama can borrow and spend more money, and 16.6 percent – led by Democrats – believe the government should raise taxes.
Fritz Wenzel, chief of Wenzel Strategies, said, "As the political argument about U.S. federal government spending ratchets up, a significant majority of Americans still want their leaders to focus mostly on cutting government spending instead of making plans to borrow more money or increase taxes."

"This latest polling does show a shift over the past two months toward a short-term fix from a bigger solution to the overall problem of spending by Washington, as the percentage of those who consider an increase in the debt ceiling to be the best solution has more than doubled – moving from 10 percent to 21 percent since this question was last asked in May. Meanwhile, the percentages of registered voters who most favored cuts in government spending decreased, down from 64 percent two months ago," Wenzel said.
"What I think we are seeing here is the realization by many that there is such political gridlock in Washington that Democrats and Republicans are so far apart on how to deal with government spending that a short-term solution needs to be found to get the nation through the 2012 elections without destroying the economy. Once that is done, wholesale changes – one way or another – can be made," Wenzel said. "This is clearly going to be a key issue in next year's presidential and congressional campaigns, but this survey also shows the Republicans have the upper hand in the argument at this point, as more than three times as many registered voters agree with them that the best solution is to cut government spending than agree with Democrats that taxes need to be raised.
"Whether they articulate that effectively on the campaign trail is another question indeed," he said.
More than 60 percent of the respondents said they would be willing to see the federal government "dramatically downsize" to deal with the debt issue, to 24 percent who said they wouldn't. And a startling 52.6 percent said they would be willing to see "entire agencies and departments of the federal government shut down." Thirty-six percent said they would not.
"Even among Democrats, slightly more than not favor big cuts to government. As is typically the case when details are placed on the table, there is a little less support for cuts in government. When asked specifically about the elimination of whole departments of the government, 53 percent favored such cuts, while 37 percent opposed them," Wenzel said. "Among Republicans and independents, more than not favored such cuts, but among Democrats, 51 percent opposed the elimination of whole departments, while 38 percent favored such action."
Wenzel said that by a 2-to-1 margin Americans don't believe that the government needs to borrow another $2 trillion, and respondents were split on whether the debt ceiling should be raised that amount.
But he said that result may reflect uncertainty over the problems that could develop, because when respondents were asked whether raising the debt ceiling is a good idea, 59 percent said no. A total of 51 percent said it also was not necessary.
More than half said the doomsday predictions – coming largely from President Obama, who said he couldn't assure recipients they would get their August Social Security checks if he didn't get his way with the debt ceiling – are overblown.
"Republicans may find some spine to stick to their guns in opposing the hike in the borrowing limit, as 55 percent of registered voters said that if their own representative in Congress were to vote against an increase in the limit, they would be more likely to vote for that member of Congress in next year's elections," Wenzel said.
"It is important to note that the intensity of the responses strongly favors those who vote against the debt ceiling hike – as 35 percent said they would be 'much more likely' to vote for their own member of Congress next year if they oppose a hike in the debt ceiling now. In other words, Republicans stand to reap big political gains back home if they oppose the hike," he said.
More than half the respondents said the Aug. 2 date cited by Obama is "arbitrary" and is being used to "gain political leverage because it comes just one day before Social Security checks are due to be mailed."
More than half accused Obama of playing politics by using the threat of withholding Social Security checks, and more than 4 in 10 said "they believe Obama would target specific cuts that would have the effect of punishing the American public for the purpose of creating an outcry that could pressure Congress to spend more money on government programs," the report said.
"The American public is aware that their national government is spending far too much money, and is inefficient in doing so," said Wenzel. "They desperately want serious changes made, but seem realistic about the political realities of Washington's current political gridlock.
"This is the first serious battle of the 2012 elections for president and Congress, and what happens in the next several weeks will be reflected outcomes of November 2012," he said.
Why? Because just 27 percent said they believe the country is headed in the right direction, and just 43 percent give Obama positive job approval ratings. Positive perceptions of Congress languished at 12 percent.
It was just a few weeks back that a poll with similar questions showed 75 percent said they would favor a U.S. constitutional amendment "requiring an annual balanced budget from the federal government," Wenzel noted.
That poll showed that 47.1 percent of all voters say Washington is giving them a "poor" value for their money, and another 27.6 percent said the value is "only fair." The results cut across demographics, with Democrats having the most optimistic outlook. But even there, nearly 59 percent said the federal government's value was "only fair" or "poor."
Among the GOP respondents, almost 89 percent could not agree to rating the government's value as excellent or good, and among independents the figure was more than 77 percent.
"Last November, voters across the nation sent a clear message to national lawmakers that they wanted solutions to out-of-control spending and government growth. Five months into the new Congress, national discontent appears stronger than ever on the federal government’s budgetary failures," Wenzel said.
"This is a clear repudiation of the prevailing leadership in Washington, and sets up an interesting political dynamic as Democrats and Republicans prepare to fight the final battles over whether or not to increase the limit on how much the national government can borrow to pay its bills," he said.
"Given three options on how to deal with the federal debt limit, the Republican approach appears to have the most public support, as 64 percent of likely voters nationwide said government spending should be cut to stay below the current debt limit. Another 10 percent said the debt limit should be increased to keep the nation solvent, while 18 percent favored increasing taxes to help pay federal bills," Wenzel said of the May results.
"For all of the denigration the so-called tea party members have suffered in the past two years at the hands of the Democrats, the idea that Americans are 'Taxed Enough Already' – the core complaint of the tea partiers – clearly resonates across the country," he warned.
Americans have a sizeable concern about whether the federal debt will hurt the U.S. economy in the coming months, too. More than 55 percent said they are very concerned about the situation; another 27 percent said they are somewhat concerned. Only one in 20 was "not at all concerned."
An independent grassroots lobbying effort launched by WND founder Joseph Farah, called the "No More Red Ink" campaign, already has sent some 1 million letters to House Republicans calling on them to oppose any rise in the debt limit, thus shutting off the spigot for more spending beyond the government's revenues.
Though there has been little discussion about it in the national media or even on Capitol Hill, House Republicans hold all the cards on denying a debt-limit increase. With control of the House, they need only 218 votes against it to freeze borrowing and force the federal government to begin living within its means immediately.
Since approval of both houses of Congress is required to raise the debt limit, it is one of the very few meaningful actions the Republican-controlled House can take without the consent of the Senate or the White House, Farah says.
He has called it the Republicans' "secret weapon

45 signs of Communism in the USA and soon to come

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use ["]united force["] to solve economic, political or social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

The Czech Republic and the Netherlands have joined a growing boycott of the United Nations session of Durban III on September 22, putting the brakes on the worldwide anti-Israel campaign.
Durban III takes place on the 10th anniversary of the Durban, South Africa Declaration and Program of Action to Fight Racism, and focuses on Israel while ignoring genocide and racism in Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Syria and dozens of other countries, most of them Muslim.
"Unacceptable statements with anti-Jewish connotations” emanating from the program for Durban III were the reasons for pulling out of the conference, the Czech Foreign Ministry said. "The Czech Republic will not attend the September top-level meeting and will not participate in any informal talks designed to pass a political declaration that is to ensue from them," it added.
Israel, the United States, Canada and Italy already have announced they will not attend the conference.
The Netherlands, like Italy and the Czech Republic, objected to the Durban III planners’ refusal to include in a final statement that "all participating states emphatically distance themselves from the linking of subjects that have nothing to do with the fight against racism.”
“The three countries now see themselves forced to no longer participate in the preparations for the celebration, and also not to attend it, " the Dutch Foreign Affairs Ministry said.
"A number of countries have in the past continually put the peace process in the Middle East in the center of the discussions on combating racism, xenophobia and discrimination, along with which denying Israel's right to exist," the ministry added.
Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini announced on Friday that Italy has decided to boycott the Durban III Conference to be held in September due its anti-Israeli nature and noted that Italy chose not to attend the second Durban Conference in 2009 for the same reasons.
Prague cited concerns that the conference would be used as a platform to make "unacceptable statements with anti-Jewish connotations

Iran has changed its original report that a nuclear scientist was assassinated and now claims the murdered man was a student. Either way, the Islamic Republic blames “American Zionists.”
Official Iranian media originally reported that two people on motorcycles shot and killed Prof. Darioush Rezainejad, at least the fourth nuclear scientist in Iran to have been killed or gone missing in the past two years. His wife was wounded.
Less than 24 hours after the report, official Iranian media claimed that the assassins targeted the wrong man and instead killed a student in electronics who was employed by the government in defense work.
Iran’s Speaker of Parliament Ari Larijani alleged, "Yesterday's US-Zionist terrorist act that targeted one of the elites of Iran is another instance demonstrating the US's hostility. Thus, the United States regards as allowable such acts in its sham global management.”
Whether Rezainejad was a student or professor, his death apparently was not an accident. His home was located close to the Islamic Republic’s intelligence headquarters, and Al Jazeera reported, "What is clear is that this is a huge blow to the country's intelligence units.”
Iranian spokesmen explained that the change in its report due to confusion caused by the victim’s name, which is similar to that of a professor whose family name is Rezaei
Previous assassinations and mysterious deaths have been attributed to an Israeli-American attempt to interfere with Iran’s progress towards developing nuclear capability and posing an immediate threat to Israel in particular, and the entire Middle East in general.
Last November, two bombing attacks killed one nuclear scientist and wounded another.
In January 2010, a motorcyclist set off a remote-controlled bomb that killed a physicist.

Soon to happen in the USA What economic crisis? Greek government spending $15 million to build mosque in Athens

What economic crisis? Greek government spending $15 million to build mosque in Athens

And no one, of course, will vet what is taught there. To do so would be "Islamophobic."
"Building To Be Reconstructed Into Mosque For Muslim Community In Athens," by Penny Koutourinis for the Greek Reporter, July 23 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
The Greek government will finance the reconstruction of building structures into mosques for the Muslim community in Athens. Estimated to cost less than 15 million, the existing plans for the mosque will serve 500 faithful Muslims. The building of the former Naval Base in Botanikos has been chosen and once it is renovated and converted, it will operate as an Islamic mosque in Athens. According to the amendment tabled in parliament it will be incorporated in a bill being debated by the Ministry of Environment Energy and Climate Change which governs energy issues.
The Steering Committee of the mosque consists of five Greek government officials and two Muslims from recognized associations in Athens. The Islamic leadership position, often the worship leader of a mosque and the Muslim community will be appointed after approval by the Minister of Education.

Minimizing Beijing's military threat, denying its expansionist intentions

President Obama's China adviser, Evan Medeiros, has a long history of downplaying the threat to U.S. interests posed by Beijing's rapid military and economic growth, once even penning a paper that argued China should embrace a "great power mentality."
Medeiros was appointed as China director of the White House National Security Council in 2009.
He was a foreign policy adviser to Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign and even donated $3,800 to the candidate, his only campaign contribution on record since 2000.
Read about the growing conflict, in "AMERICA FOR SALE: Fighting the...
Medeiros has been an external researcher at the Strategic Studies Institute of the U.S. Army War College, where he has given several recent lectures.
He was formerly a senior research analyst at the Arms Control Association in Washington, D.C. He was also a project associate with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Project at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and joined the RAND Corporation as a political scientist in 2002.
Prior to that, Medeiros was a senior research associate at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies at the Monterey Institute

Tiananmen Square, Beijing
In his most recent "Inside the Ring" column in the Washington Times, Bill Gertz cited congressional Republicans as identifying Medeiros as a key player involved in the Obama administration's policy of refusing to sell needed arms to Taiwan.
The same report blamed Medeiros for delaying the release of a second Pentagon report to Congress on the shifting air power balance in the Taiwan Strait.
The Times also cited Republican staff aides and a defense official as stating they believe Medeiros is behind efforts to block the release to Congress of the Pentagon's annual report on Chinese military power, completed months ago and due to Capitol Hill on March 1.
The report on China's military was also delayed last year. When it was eventually released, the report was watered down with a minimized title. Previously called the "Annual Report to Congress: Military Power of the People's Republic of China," the report was renamed "Annual Report on Security Developments Involving China."
Medeiros, meanwhile, was fingered by Gertz's sources as a key official in preventing the U.S. sale of 66 advanced F-16 jets to Taiwan and for delaying the sale of equipment to upgrade Taiwan's existing F-16s. Both military moves were expected to anger China.
A review of Medeiros's articles and statements to the news media finds a regular trend of minimizing China's threat to the U.S.
In 2009, just before his appointment to the NSC, Medeiros stated China was not seeking to "confront the United States or expel it from the region."
He argued China was not aiming to replace America as a superpower.
In 2007, Medeiros, speaking as an expert at the RAND Corporation, argued Beijing's military buildup is limited to Asia and it has not sought to project power globally.
"Cumulatively, this is a substantial amount of money devoted toward military modernization. And it's clearly a reflection of the Chinese government's priorities and the fact that they seek to build a modern military with regional power projection capabilities," Medeiros said.
In 2005, Medeiros said of China's People's Liberation Army: "Do the old shibboleths still apply – that the Chinese defense industry is backward, poor and low-quality?"
"No," he continued. "It seems China has turned the corner. … For the first time in 20 years, the PLA has adopted reforms that make sense. They adopted, and implemented, and are really learning quickly."
Medeiros that year was lead author of a 300-page RAND study, "New Directions for China's Defense Industry."
In 2002, he minimized China's missile project, telling The Economist that the Chinese "don't really see missiles as weapons of mass destruction while most American policymakers equate the two."
In an article in the November-December 2003 issue of Foreign Affairs magazine, Medeiros, with analyst M. Taylor Fravel, presented the views of experts on Chinese foreign policy as stating China should overcome its long-held ''victim mentality'' and adopt a ''great power mentality'' instead.
Speaking to Knight Ridder in 2001, Medeiros stated, "The Chinese defense industrial base is very outdated and dilapidated, especially in these areas where warfare is headed.
"They don't have the high technology to compete at all," he said.
He stated China's ships and planes, at least those not acquired from Russia, are outfitted with technology equal to what American forces had in the late 1960s or early 1970s.
"So if they ever got in a battle with the United States, we could destroy their forces before they ever saw us," Medeiros added.
Still, Medeiros has incorporated criticism of China into his work. His 2005 RAND study, for example, said China "needs to do more to enforce its own controls."
Stated the study: "China has erected a structure that has a strong legal basis to control exports of goods that can be used for making weapons of mass destruction, but it hasn't devoted the necessary financial or political resources to make these controls effective.
"This is a persistent and glaring weakness," the study said.
