Taken the day he was sworn in as President, they show him giving Kezia Obama and the rest of his extended family a tour of his new home.
Embraced by Mrs Obama, who travelled to Washington DC from her council house in Bracknell, the President proudly posed in an official reception for the family.
He is also surrounded by his half-brother Abongo, his sister-in-law, niece, nephew and other relatives, who all travelled from Kenya and were in the VIP enclosure for his inauguration in January.

It was amazing to be in there with him. This is his new home. He has come a long way.”
The 51-year-old accountant, who was best man at the President’s wedding, added: “My brother had such a hectic schedule that day, but he still took time out for us.”
Despite sharing the family’s jubilation, he told of his fears President Obama could be assassinated.
“There are crazy people out there, there is always a danger someone will try to hurt him,” he said. “That’s something I worry about all the time. Security was so tight, yet there were times when he was out there shaking hands with the public and I just saw how exposed he is and it scared me.”
He also revealed how his brother had sent a personal note to the family on official White House stationery once they returned to Kenya. The note read: “To the people of K’Obama – Thank you for the prayers and support!”
A similar letter was sent to the people of Kogelo, some of whom had travelled to the US for the historic occasion. The President’s 86-year-old paternal grandmother Sarah was also in Washington DC for his swearing-in ceremony, as well as his half-sister Auma, 49, and half-brothers Ben, 38, and Abo, 40.
Mr Obama said: “I am looking forward to going back and staying with Barack at the White House, but it won’t ever be the same.
“We can’t just hang out like we used to and sit in a bar with a few drinks catching up. I will miss that and he will too but this was his dream, he knew he had to make certain sacrifices.”
After marrying Mrs Obama, Barack Obama Snr went on to marry President Obama’s mother Ann Dunham – an American he met during a scholarship to the United States. He eventually returned to his first wife, with whom he had four children, and died in 1982.
President Obama first met his Kenyan relatives during a trip to Africa in his twenties, after his father died.

Libyan tyrant Muammar Gaddafi praised Barack Obama in February and acknowledged his Muslim descent.
It’s not the first time he said that Obama was Muslim.

Gaddafi said the whole Arab world is ready to throw their financial support behind this Muslim candidate back in 2008.

Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi considers the US president a blessing to the Muslim world. In a speech published in London-based al-Hayat newspaper on Saturday, Gaddafi praised Barack Obama, called him a “friend” and said there is no longer any dispute between his country and the US.
Speaking in the Libyan city of Sirt at an event marking the 24th anniversary of an American attack on Libya, he said, “At the time, we were the target of the American cannon, the American navy challenged us in the gulf of Sirt and attacked us all along Libya’s shores. America tested Libya, and the Libyan people resisted the large country, but today, thank God, the difference is great.”
He said, “Now, ruling America is a black man from our continent, an African from Arab descent, from Muslim descent, and this is something we never imagined – that from Reagan we would get to Barakeh Obama.”
Gaddafi stressed that Obama’s presidency is “a major historical gain” and said, “He is someone I consider a friend. He knows he is a son of Africa. Regardless of his African belonging, he is of Arab Sudanese descent, or of Muslim descent. He is a man whose policy should be supported, and he should be assisted in implementing it in any way possible, since he is now leaning towards peace.”

Obviously, he wasn’t that close of a friend, Moammar.

Palestinian Authority terrorists continued their attacks on innocent Jewish motorists over Yom Kippur, this time attacking a woman in labor and her husband as they rushed to the hospital. The husband, Ariel Goldman of Pnei Kedem, told Arutz Sheva that the two were lucky to escape with their lives.

Their ordeal began near Har Homa at 2:30 a.m., as they drove to Hadassah Ein Karem hospital in Jerusalem. Suddenly, they encountered a point in the road that had been blocked by large stones.

As Goldman slowed the car, looking for a way around the trap, several Palestinian Authority terrorists jumped out and began to hurl rocks at the car.

The attack turned into a game of cat and mouse, as Goldman looked for ways around the rocks and tried to keep moving, while the terrorists followed the car and continued to pelt it with heavy stones, using a tactic that recently resulted in two deaths near Hevron.

The terrorists “had murder in their eyes,” Goldman said.

He finally managed to pass the stone barrier and speed away from the group of attackers, only to encounter a second group that attempted to stone the car near the Jerusalem neighborhood of Talpiot. Goldman managed to speed away a second time.

A policewoman he later encountered appeared uninterested by his story, but promised to notify her superiors, he said.

Ariel Goldman and his wife managed to reach the hospital, where she gave birth to a baby boy. Both the baby and mother are in good condition.

Israeli police said Sunday that 25-year-old Asher Palmer and his infant son Yonatan were killed in a terrorist attack after Palestinians threw rocks at their car, causing it to overturn on a highway.
It happened Friday near the Israeli settlement Kiryat Arba. Authorities originally said the wreck was due to driver error, not stone throwing, prompting accusations of a police cover up so as not to “fan the flames” of a potential Palestinian protest.
Police re-labeled it a terror attack after further investigation and an autopsy on Asher Palmer’s body revealed injuries consistent with a rock hurling, including fractures to his skull.

Arutz Sheva reported:

Among the evidence that at first failed, for unknown reasons, to convince police that terrorists may have been involved: a hole in the front windshield of the car, a massive rock found in the front seat with human blood on it, a tear in fabric of the steeling wheel cover and dust indicating a blow from the rock, and damage to Asher Palmer’s face suggesting an impact unrelated to the crash.

“It was clearly a terrorist attack, Asher’s gun had been stolen, there were rocks inside the vehicle and it was clear Asher was hit by a rock,” Aharon Peretz, Palmer’s brother-in-law, told Y Net News. “It’s very grave that [a possible cover up] comes at the expense of a grieving family.”

Although we should have learned by now that nothing is sacred and nothing is safe from those whose mission it is to destroy America, it’s still shocking to learn that jihadist terrorist organizations have infiltrated the Boy Scouts of America.
This is the kind of irony that can turn your stomach.
Boy Scouts of America was founded in 1910, during the height of the progressive era in the United States due to concerns among some that young men were no longer learning patriotism and individualism. BSA epitomized the Christian values of America’s founding fathers for decades. Today, however, Boy Scouts of America is riddled with terrorist organizations who are recruiting and training youth — by the thousands — for their own causes.
The Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamic organization responsible for the creation of Hamas, has infiltrated the BSA, not only through mosques and worship centers that establish and sponsor scouting programs, but also through direct partnership with BSA.
Boy Scouts of America welcomes diverse religions and has incorporated them into its program giving scouts an opportunity to earn badges or emblems by participating in religious activities. The Islamic scouting emblems include an Allahu Akbar emblem.
Allahu Akbar (‘Allah is greater’) are the very same words shouted by many Islamic terrorists and suicide bombers in the moments just before they kill (in the name of Allah).
Almost 30 years ago, Boy Scouts of America entered into a partnership with the Islamic Council on Scouting of North America, an organization in New York that expressed a desire to promote scouting in local Muslim communities. That partnership opened the door to a dangerous and radical form of Islam, welcoming the ICSNA in to recruit and train new generations of jihadists right under our noses.
ICSNA was chaired by Dr. Muzamil Siddiqui, an Islamic scholar who served as Chairman of the Religious Affairs Committee of a Muslim Brotherhood founded organization, Muslim Students Association (MSA).
Once accepted into BSA, the ICSNA immediately began the formation of a National Islamic Committee of the Boy Scouts of America to spread Islamic scouting across the nation. An ad hoc committee was formed under the Chairmanship of Ambassador Youssouf Sylla, representative to the United Nations of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC).
Almost a decade ago, Aaron Klein reported that after two days of debates on the topic of what the Islamic position should be on terrorism and jihad, the OIC couldn’t even decide whether suicide bombing constitutes terrorism or violates the Koran.
Thanks to the work of the ICSNA’s national committee, several Islamic scout units have been formed throughout the U.S. and more Muslim Brotherhood organizations, like the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), were accepted into the BSA.
BSA states regarding its relationship with the Islamic Society of North America: “ISNA has had a relationship with the Boy Scouts of America for over a decade, and the ISNA secretary general recently signed the relationship document in the ISNA’s annual convention at Chicago.”
Last year, Klein reported that the Obama administration has “an extensive relationship” with ISNA and that the organization was an unindicted co-conspirator in a scheme to raise money for Hamas.
Klein went on to say that, according to Islam scholar Stephen Schwartz, ISNA is “one of the chief conduits through which the radical Saudi form of Islam passes into the United States.”.

Muslim Brotherhood-founded organizations have a long history of inciting violence against non-Muslims. In recent years, the U.S. Brotherhood has operated under the name Muslim American Society, or MAS. In 2004, the Chicago Tribune reported that the Chicago area MAS website “includes reading materials that state Muslims have a duty to help form Islamic governments worldwide and should be prepared to take up arms to do so.”
MAS reading materials also state that “until the nations of the world have functionally Islamic governments, every individual who is careless or lazy in working for Islam is sinful.”
The Tribune article goes on to report that another passage “says that Western secularism and materialism are evil and that Muslims should ‘pursue this evil force to its own lands’ and ‘invade its Western heartland.’”
MAS established their MAS Scouting Department in 2002. It is “helping to network over 30 girls and boy scout units across the U.S. working through the Boy and Girl Scouts of America.”
The MAS Scouting Department provides a network for all Islamic Scouting programs and currently claims nearly 1,500 scouts in membership.
BSA Troop 1576 at All Dulles Area Muslim Society
ISNA President, Mohammed Magid, is the Imam and Executive Director of the All Dulles Area Muslim Society, known as ADAMS Center.
ADAMS identifies itself as “a membership organization registered in the State of Virginia… affiliated with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA).”
ADAMS has formed and currently sponsors several active scouting programs through Boy Scouts of America.
In true Muslim Brotherhood form, ADAMS paints itself as a peaceful organization that condemns violence and discrimination. However, while one page of the organization’s website claims that they “strongly condemn and reject the actions of terrorists and terrorism,” another page proudly boasts the names and logos of several partner organizations also known to have a relationship with the Brotherhood and Al Qaeda.

Alarming enough is the fact that ADAMS’ former Chairman, Ahmad Totonji, was named a defendant in a lawsuit filed by numerous family members who lost loved ones in the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York.
FrontPage Magazine’s Erick Stakelbeck writes:
Ahmad Totonji… served as Vice-President of the Saudi-funded International Institute for Islamic Thought and is also closely linked to the notorious SAAR Foundation (created by… a scion of one of the richest Saudi families). Both… organizations were raided by federal agents in December 2001 under suspicion that they were supporting Islamic terrorist groups. Totonji, in turn, was named a defendant in a $1 trillion lawsuit filed by more than 600 relatives of people who died in the 9/11 attacks.
ADAMS’ current Imam (Mohammed Magid) and former Imam (Ingrid Mattson) both attended last year’s White House Iftar with President Obama.
Imam Magid also attended this year’s White House Iftar. Oddly, his name, along with the names of two other “controversial Muslims”, did not appear on the White House’s published guest list.
Boy Scouts of America Unit 357 at the Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood
One of the first Islamic Boy Scout units formed in the country was B.S.A. Unit 357, The Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood, in Harlem, New York.
The Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood, or MIB, is a descendant of the Muslim Mosque, Inc., which was started by El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz (Malcolm X) in 1964 after his departure from the Nation of Islam organization.
Although the Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood emphatically denies any association or affiliation to the Muslim Brotherhood on its website, the activities of mosque board members, and even the language used on the website, tells a different story.
Joe Kaufman of FrontPage Magazine reported that the passage displayed on MIB’s website “is straight out of the text of the Muslim Brotherhood founder, Hasan Al-Banna’s, treatise, ‘The Message of the Teachings’.
The passage reads:
Allah is our goalThe Prophet Muhammad ibn ‘Abdullah is our leaderThe Qu’ran is our constitution Jihad is our wayAnd death in the way of Allah is our promised end.
Al-Hajj Talib Abdur-Rashid, a former award-winning Islamic scout leader in Harlem, has been the religious and spiritual leader (Imam) of the Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood since 1989.
According to Discover the Networks, Imam Rashid was heavily influenced by black nationalism before converting to Islam and views America as a nation infested with white racism.
Imam Rashid is a member of the National Committee to Free Imam Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin (known as H. Rap Brown), a former Black Panther Party member who was convicted of attempted murder for opening fire on two police officers when they tried to arrest him for theft.
Remember, MIB (as sponsor of BSA scouts) denies any association with the Muslim Brotherhood. Yet, ironically, MIB’s own Imam, Abdur-Rashid, is Deputy Amir of the executive committees of not one, but two different Muslim Brotherhood organizations (Muslim Alliance in North America, or MANA, and the Islamic Leadership Council of New York).
Just a quick glance at MANA’s website blows a gaping hole in MIB’s denial of a Brotherhood association. One of Imam Rashid’s fellow MANA committee members is Anwar Muhaimin, Imam of the International Muslim Brotherhood in Philadelphia.
Another of Rashid’s fellow committee members at MANA is Kenny Gamble, a.k.a. Luqman Abdul Haqq, who is also involved in training up young scouts through his United Muslim Movement. Although I’ve found no affiliation with Boy Scouts of America, Gamble’s Jawala Scouts mirror BSA scouting programs, but with paramilitary training (including weapons training) that begins at age 7.
Imam Rashid is also Deputy Amir of The Islamic Leadership Council of New York, which organized a summit last September in New York to discuss the planned “Ground Zero Mosque” and “a rise in anti-Muslim sentiments” surrounding the mosque. All eleven organizations listed as attending the summit are either Muslim Brotherhood founded or affiliated. Disturbing, isn’t it, how this Imam can claim that his mosque has no affiliation to the Brotherhood?
What’s more disturbing is that at least half of the Brotherhood organizations that participated in last year’s summit are influencing thousands of children throughout the nation, through our Christian-founded Boy Scouts of America.

Gunwalker’s Body Count Grows, Along with the Obama Administration’s Cover-Up

It seems like only a matter of time before administration officials face felony indictments for their role in Operation Fast and Furious.

 House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa was brutally frank in a Tuesday morning conference call with new media representatives dedicated to the ongoing Gunwalker scandal.

The California Republican kicked off the call with a brief statement reporting that Marisela Morales, Mexico’s attorney general, now says that at least 200 Mexican deaths can now be traced to weapons from the gunwalking program.That number has been revised significantly upward from earlier unofficial claims of approximately 150 deaths attributed to Operation Fast and Furious guns.
The revelation of the increased body count comes less than 24 hours after the Los Angeles Times published a story that rightly describes the actions of the Obama administration as an unresolved betrayal.
This betrayal — and Morales pulled no punches in using that exact word — is being ignored by the majority of the U.S. mainstream media, which vacillate from pretending that Gunwalker was just a minor law enforcement snafu to echoing White House-orchestrated attempts to smear the Oversight Committee chairman and obstruct the investigation.
The question-and-answer period that followed Chairman Issa’s statement focused narrowly on Operation Fast and Furious, with only one reporter slipping off-topic to ask a quick question about the breaking Solyndra scandal.
Perhaps the most important clarification to come out of the call was confirmation that the Oversight Committee does indeed intend to call for a special prosecutor once they have completed their own investigation, which they optimistically would like to have wrapped up by the end of the year. Chairman Issa was quick to point out that finishing the House investigation by the end of the year hinged upon a transparent and timely release of information from the executive branch, including the federal law enforcement agencies involved and the Obama White House.
The White House has thus far refused to divulge any of the documentation the congressional investigators have asked for, and the administration’s political appointees are stymieing all attempts to get information out of the Justice Department, Homeland Security, and other involved agencies. Rep. Issa seemed quite aware that his goal of resolving the congressional investigation in 2011 was going to be obstructed by an administration in full cover-up mode.
Issa also revealed that the reason a special prosecutor has not yet been brought in to investigate the plot is that once a special prosecutor begins to investigate, the Oversight Committee has to stop its own inquiry. The committee wants to be certain that they have explored every avenue and leave no source or witness uninvestigated before turning over the case. He also pointed out that a special prosecutor will be a Department of Justice employee investigating his own employer. Thus, Issa wants to be certain that they have enough knowledge to hold the prosecutor accountable.
I had the unique opportunity to ask Chairman Issa a point-blank question that seems to trouble so many people following this scandal.
After reiterating that every law enforcement agent that has been asked about Operation Fast and Furious has said that there is no way that it could have been a viable law enforcement operation, I asked Chairman Issa if there was any evidence of another reason for the implementation of Operation Fast and Furious and the other alleged gun-walking operations.
“This was dumb, it was useless, and it was lethal,” was the soundbite most of us will take away from the call in answer to that question, but his longer answer — which I regret I do not have a transcript of — is far more telling.
Nothing in his response could be construed to mean that Rep. Issa thought Operation Fast and Furious was a legitimate law enforcement operation. And if it does not appear to have been implemented as a legitimate law enforcement operation, then we are left with the possible alternative that the goal of the operation was both illegitimate and unlawful.
Issa put it rather bluntly: “The administration wanted to show that guns found in Mexico came from the United States.”
He elaborated a bit when he noted that while he wouldn’t presume to know the precise goals of Operation Fast and Furious, it certainly did seem to tie in with the narrative the Obama administration was trying to push — that U.S. guns were turning up at Mexican crime scenes. That allowed, the suggestion hanging in the air was that a goal of the Administration was indeed a “Reichstag fire” designed to support a narrative that has been publicly woven by Attorney General Holder,  Secretary of State Clinton, Secretary of Homeland Security Napolitano, and President Obama himself on multiple occasions.
One reason to assert the prominence of U.S. firearms in Mexico would be an attempt to once again bring forth an “assault weapons” ban like the failed 1994 law that sunset in 2004.
While the Oversight Committee investigation is far from over and a special prosecutor’s investigation hasn’t even begun, it is beginning to appear that the evidence and testimony being compiled so far indicate that the Obama administration was willing to break federal laws and get hundreds of people killed in Mexico and the United States in order to fabricate conditions that would help them implement their domestic gun control policies.
If so, it is entirely unethical and illegal, and it seems like only a matter of time before administration officials face felony indictments for their role in Operation Fast and Furious and perhaps the other alleged gun-walking operations that make up the Gunwalker scandal.
If that is indeed the path this scandal takes, the question may need to be asked whether U.S. justice is enough for the co-conspirators, or if  Attorney General Morales should be given the opportunity to prosecute Obama administration officials in Mexico for actions that have left so many of their citizens dead and injured.

Women in Islam are seen as sexual beings. Every part of their body is thought to be erotic. Every square inch of her, is sexual. She must cover from head to toe, because her entire body is perceived to be private parts.

In Pakistan, women are called awra. Awra or aurat means the part of the body that has to be covered. Exposing the Awra is unlawful in Islam and is regarded as sin. Etymologically, the term Awra derives from the root ‘a-w-r which means “defectiveness”, “imperfection”, “blemish” or “weakness”

– however the most common English translation is “nakedness”. The Islamic regime of Iran calls women zaifeh. It’s the feminine for “weak.” This implies also mental weakness since according to Muhammad women are deficient in intelligence. This sums up the status of woman in Islam.

You can’t be more explicit than this. In a society that women are seen as weak, defective and private part, any contact that they may have with men is deemed to be sexual and unlawful. Women in Muslim countries are segregated.  From the very childhood boys and girls are kept apart.

They don’t play with each other, don’t go to school with each other, don’tA Muslim woman’s entire body is private part. So if you shake hand with her it is the same as touching her crotch. If she displays her hair, it is as exposing her pubic hair.

Everything in her is sexual and private part. In Islam women are the namoos (ناموس) of their male relatives. Namoos can be roughly translated as honor, but with a sexual connotation. The namoos of a Muslim hinges on protecting his female kin from prying eyes.
If a woman displays her beauty or talks to a stranger man, the namoos of all her male relatives is injured. The only way to redeem an injured namoos is to wash the stain with blood. Patriarchal societies produce men with devalued sense of self. Therefore, a Muslim man’s “honor,” depends almost entirely on how he can keep his female dependants under leash.
Should he fail to do that he is shamed. He knows that everyone will be talking about him and laughing at him behind his back. He can restore his namoos by killing the woman that has been “defiled.” The Islamic society does not look down at such a man, but rather he is lionized as having ghairat (pride, sense of honor).
The question is how to stop this insanity. Now that we know the root cause of this problem the answer is obvious. The problem is Islamic misogyny. We can’t expect more from a society that treats its women as deficient in intelligence, weak and a defective thing that has to covered. Where women are dehumanized and sexualized honor killing is the outcome.

In Islam, the age of Maturity for a girl is 9 years and for a Boy is 15 years. This means that a 9 year old girl and a 15 year old boy are considered to have the same level of maturity.

Now, if girl reaches Maturity Six years earlier than Boy, Then why did God place men in charge of women? Was there something wrong with God’s Judgment? Honor killing is not the only problem affecting Islamic countries.

Dictatorship, violence, terrorism, poverty, human rights abuses, and a host of other problems that are endemic in Muslim countries are all due to teachings of Islam. Muslims do Honor Killing of their own Daughters or Sisters which is Horrible act of Killing, Some one please Explain me what is Honor in Killing your own family members ?

Muslim don’t take pride in education or achievements and to strive for excellence in science but their pride is between two legs of their own female members instead between two ears..pathetic..
There is one obvious solution for all these problems, but it is politically incorrect to say it. The problem is Islam, and the solution is to get rid of it.

This required telling the truth about this faith and criticizing it in the same way that Christianity and all other faiths have been criticized. However, while it is okay to criticize every other faith, criticizing Islam is taboo ride on the same bus, and don’t shake hand or have eye contact.

Any contact with women can arouse the pious Muslim men sexually, which would not only cause him to sin, but also would dishonor her male relatives. The Quran (4:34) says men are in charge of women. The same verse says “good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded.” The secret is their awra.

Since in Islam the woman’s whole body is considered to be sexual, they must cover every part of their body and avoid contact with stranger men. Verse 24:31 says believing women must lower their gaze, be modest and they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty to strangers.

In the west, one can shake hand with a woman, dance with her and even kiss her on the cheek, and none of that is considered to be sexual. Joys of Muslim Women In the Muslim faith a Muslim man can marry a child as young as 1 year old and have sexual intimacy with this child, consummating the marriage by 9.

The dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman (who becomes his slave) and for the purchase of the private parts of the woman, to use her as a toy. Even though a woman is abused she can not obtain a divorce.
To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses. Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to her family and the family must return the dowry. The family has the right to execute her (an honor killing) to restore the honor of the family. Husbands can beat their wives ‘at will and he does not have to say why he has beaten her.
The husband is permitted to have (4 wives) and a temporary wife for an hour (prostitute) at his discretion.

The Shariah Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman. In the West World (America) Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife can not obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her.

It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending American Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Shariah law.

By passing this on, enlightened American women may avoid becoming a slave under Shariah Law. Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.

Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before emigrating to America in 1978, When she was eight years old, her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza .
When he died, he was considered a “shahid,” a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society. But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age.
She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television. In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping Sharia law – what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries. For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose Sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed.
In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President! I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!

Damning claims have emerged that Britain helped send a terror suspect into the bloody hands of Colonel Gaddafi.
A secret letter found in an abandoned Libyan government building appears to show that MI6 provided intelligence which led to the ‘rendition’ of a Libyan dissident who was then tortured horrifically.
Abdel Hakim Belhadj, who by a bitter irony is now a senior military commander in the rebel army, last night claimed British agents were among the first to question him in Tripoli, adding that he was very ‘surprised that the British got involved in what was a very painful period in my life’.
He said: ‘I wasn’t allowed a bath for three years and I didn’t see the sun for one year.
'They hung me from the wall and kept me in an isolation cell. I was regularly tortured.’
Astonishingly, the letter’s author appears desperate to take credit for Britain’s role, and fawning in his attitude to Musa Kusa, Gaddafi’s intelligence chief who was known as the regime’s ‘envoy of death’.
He writes: ‘This was the least we could do for you and for Libya to demonstrate the remarkable relationship we have built over recent years.’
The letter lays bare the startlingly close relationship between British spies and senior figures in the Gaddafi regime, and raises serious questions about whether the UK helped in one of the most controversial elements of the U.S. ‘war on terror’ – the illegal movement of prisoners around the world.

 

The explosive letter was among hundreds of documents found abandoned by campaign group Human Rights Watch on Friday in the offices formerly occupied by Kusa as head of the Libyan foreign ministry.
Their authenticity has not been officially confirmed.

Headlined ‘for Musa in Tripoli from Mark in London’, the letter about Belhadj is thought to have been written by Sir Mark Allen, MI6’s then counter-terrorism chief, who now works for BP.
It was written days before Tony Blair arrived in Tripoli for the notorious ‘Deal in the Desert’ in March 2004.
In the letter, the writer discusses the arrangements for the PM’s visit, including the suggestion that Downing Street wanted Mr Blair and the Libyan leader to appear in a tent together because the image would appeal to the British public.
Alarmingly, at the end of the letter he congratulates Musa Kusa on the arrival of Mr Belhadj, who Human Rights Watch said is also known as Abu Abd Allah Sadiq, and appears to indicate the rendition was carried out by the U.S. on the basis of British intelligence.
There is no suggestion, however, that Britain was directly involved in the operation to capture him.

Taking clear credit for the fact that Belhadj is in Libyan custody, he writes: ‘I am so glad. I was grateful to you for helping the officer we sent out last week. Abu Abd Allah’s information on the situation in this country is of urgent importance to us.’
He also boasts of keeping the Americans in the dark and dealing with Musa Kusa directly, and refers to the prisoner as ‘air cargo’.
He added: ‘Amusingly, we got a request from the Americans to channel requests for information from Abu Abd Allah through the Americans. I have no intention of doing any such thing.
‘The intelligence about Abu Abd Allah was British. I know I did not pay for the air cargo. But I feel I have the right to deal with you direct on this and am very grateful to you for the help you are giving us.’
Last night the leading human rights lawyer Geoffrey Robertson QC said the documents should be passed to the Gibson inquiry which is considering allegations of British complicity in torture.

He said: ‘MI6 were entirely right to have dealings with Libyan intelligence in 2004 to obtain information . . . but they had no right to assist Gaddafi’s regime by illegal rendition – putting dissidents in the hands of a brutal agency that was well known to use torture and murder.’
The documents show how British intelligence led to Belhadj being captured in Bangkok on in March 2004. MI6 knew of his whereabouts because Belhadj was attempting to seek asylum in the UK.
Documents show that five days before he was taken back to Tripoli, MI6 gave Libya Belhaj’s French and Moroccan aliases, and told them he was in detention in Sepang, Malaysia.
The papers also suggest that there were at least eight occasions when the CIA sent terrorism suspects for questioning in Libya.

Other documents expose how Sir Mark flattered the Libyan spy chief, at one point thanking him for ‘a large volume of dates and oranges’. Spies also sent Christmas greetings, helped obtain telephone numbers and details of Libyan dissidents in the UK, the documents suggest.
Musa Kusa, who fled the regime with the assistance of MI6 in February, came to the UK and is now thought to be in the Middle East.
Last night the Foreign Office appeared to confirm they were genuine when a spokesman said: ‘It is the Government’s longstanding policy not to comment on intelligence matters.
‘Nor would we comment on leaked British documents.’
Sir Mark did not respond to requests for comment. A BP spokesman declined to comment.

Labour secretly helped free the Lockerbie bomber to appease Colonel Gaddafi, who was threatening to scupper oil contracts and unleash ‘holy war’ on Britain, it was revealed yesterday.
Victims’ families expressed fury as ‘smoking gun’ memos exposed the real reason Britain worked frantically behind the scenes to have Abdelbaset Al Megrahi released.
The dictator had warned of ‘dire consequences’ if the man convicted of blowing up Pan Am Flight 103 and killing 270 people died in a British jail.

Officials feared the vindictive Gaddafi would order the harassment – ‘or worse’ – of British nationals, the cancellation of business contracts with companies including BP and Shell, and the end of defence and anti-terror co-operation.

 Labour ministers repeatedly claimed the decision to release Megrahi was taken solely by the Scottish Executive on ‘compassionate grounds’ because he had prostate cancer and supposedly only three months to live. He returned to Tripoli a hero and remains alive today, two years later.

Uncensored documents found lying around in the British ambassador’s residence in Tripoli show how Labour ignored the likely fury of the U.S. administration and Lockerbie victims’ families to pave the way for Megrahi’s release.
Rosemary Wolfe, whose stepdaughter was among the 189 American victims of the bombing, said: ‘These documents are the smoking gun that we all knew existed.
‘They show what we have thought all along – that the Labour government and the Scottish government were complicit in securing the early release of Megrahi.’

Mrs Wolfe, 70, from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, said: ‘They have lied to the British people and they have lied to us. Releasing Megrahi was nothing to do with his health, but carried out because of business and oil. Those involved should hang their heads in shame.’
The cache of documents includes a January 2009 memo sent to the then Foreign Secretary David Miliband by Robert Dixon, head of the North Africa section, in which he states: ‘Gaddafi wants Megrahi to return to Libya at all costs.
‘Libyan officials and ministers have warned of dire consequences for the UK-Libya relationship and UK commercial operations in Libya in the event of Megrahi’s death in custody.’

He adds: ‘We believe Libya might seek to exact vengeance.’
Another memo lays bare the duplicity of the Brown government by revealing how ministers schemed to hide behind the Scots when the flak started flying.
Foreign Office Minister Bill Rammell apparently laid out ‘parameters’ which included stressing it was Scottish ministers who made decisions on release, and ensuring the Americans did not view the Government as ‘conniving in Megrahi’s unjustified removal from the UK’.
Informal discussions with the Scottish Executive led to an understanding that it would agree to a compassionate release, it was stated in one memo.
Possible consequences for Britain were spelled out in several files, one of which said the UK was vulnerable to the tactics used against the Swiss after Gaddafi’s son Hannibal was arrested for beating servants. These included the arrest of businessmen for ‘visa irregularities’ and closing down local subsidiaries of Swiss companies.
Earlier this year, after a review of the paperwork in the case, Cabinet Secretary Sir Gus O’Donnell said Labour ministers did ‘all they could’ to free Megrahi.
Ministers were accused of ‘acting like lawyers for the Libyans’ as the unprecedented release of Whitehall papers revealed how Labour had a ‘game plan’ and secretly plotted to ‘facilitate’ an appeal by the Libyans over Megrahi.

They were determined to seal a BP oil deal and strengthen political ties with Libya, the review found.
When Megrahi returned on a flight from Glasgow to Tripoli, he was accompanied by Gaddafi’s son Saif who told him his name had been ‘on the table in all commercial, oil and gas agreements we supervised during this period’.

Britain paved the way for the release of Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset Al Megrahi after receiving repeated threats of 'dire consequences' from Colonel Gaddafi if he died in his Scottish prison cell.
Officials were warned the Libyan dictator would view this as 'a death sentence' and unleash a series of reprisals similar to the 'holy war' he launched against the Swiss after they arrested one of his sons.
A series of documents marked 'confidential' and 'restricted' reveal that British diplomats feared these would include harassment - 'or worse' - of British nationals; the cancellation of lucrative contracts with firms such as BP, Shell and BG (formerly British Gas); and the end of defence deals and counter-terrorism co-operations.

As a result, the British Government ignored the anger of both America and the families of Lockerbie victims to push for the fastest possible release, by signing a Prisoner Transfer Agreement with Libya.
Two years ago, Megrahi was released on compassionate grounds and returned to Tripoli, where he received a hero’s welcome from Gaddafi. He was suffering terminal prostate cancer and was said to have less than three months to live. Last week he was tracked down to his Tripoli home and it emerged he is still alive, although very ill.

The cache of uncensored documents discovered in the Libyan capital makes it clear the last Government worked frantically behind the scenes to appease Gaddafi’s ‘unpredictable nature’ – even suggesting Prince Andrew be used as a go-between.

Labour Ministers repeatedly claimed that the decision to release Megrahi was taken by the Scottish administration alone – a position the Scots, keen to underline their independence, endorsed.
And earlier this year, an internal Government inquiry headed by Sir Gus O’Donnell, Britain’s most senior civil servant, concluded there was no evidence of London pressuring the Scottish Executive to release Megrahi.

However, a dramatically different picture has now emerged from the uncensored documents.
One memo sent to the then Foreign Secretary David Miliband and Foreign Office Minister Bill Rammell in January 2009 says: ‘Gaddafi wants Megrahi to return to Libya at all costs.
'Libyan officials and ministers have warned of dire consequences for the UK-Libya relationship and UK commercial operations in Libya in the event of Megrahi’s death in custody.’
The memo, written by Robert Dixon, head of the North Africa Team at the Foreign Office, added that one prominent Libyan minister warned Gaddafi would regard this as ‘a death sentence’. Mr Dixon concluded: ‘We believe Libya might seek to exact vengeance.’
British diplomats had little doubt Gaddafi’s threats were genuine, and suggested attempts to appease him using both ‘well-timed telephone contacts’ between Mr Brown and the dictator, and the Duke of York’s personal contacts with both Gaddafi and Musa Kusa, his foreign secretary who defected to Britain in the early stages of the war.

Possible consequences for Britain were spelled out in several documents. One said the UK was vulnerable to the tactics used against the Swiss after the arrest of Gaddafi’s son Hannibal for beating servants.

They predicted his release would lead to public suspicions that ‘the UK is prepared to do anything to maintain its commercial and other ties with Libya’. They also accepted there were ‘real risks for the UK-US relationship’.
The US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, it is revealed, twice raised American concerns over the affair with David Miliband in March 2009. But diplomats made it clear they preferred American fury to ‘a series of potentially extreme risks to UK staff, nationals and our long-term energy security in the event of a Libyan overreaction to Megrahi’s death in custody’.

3 Boston Islamic charity leaders convicted again

A federal appeals court on Thursday overturned the acquittal of a Libyan man and two associates who were accused of conspiring to dupe the U.S. government into granting tax-exempt status to a defunct Muslim charity by hiding its pro-jihad activities.
The appeals court reinstated the jury’s guilty verdict against Libya’s Emadeddin Muntasser together with Samir Al-Monla and Muhammed Mubayyid. The three founded and led the defunct Boston-based Care International Inc.
The organization described its mission as helping war orphans, widows and refugees in Muslim nations. But prosecutors argued that it was a successor to a U.S. branch of a group founded by Osama bin Laden to recruit, fund and transport Muslim militants involved in armed conflicts around the world. The group also distributed a newsletter and published a website promoting jihad and supported extremists.

A jury found the three men guilty in January 2008 of conspiring to trick the government into awarding their organization tax-exempt status by hiding its pro-jihad activities. Jurors also convicted Muntasser of lying to federal officials and Mubayyid of making false statements to federal officials and filing false tax returns.
But a federal judge overturned the tax conspiracy conviction, saying the evidence did not support the verdict.
The government and defendants appealed. Prosecutors argued that although facts proved at trial differed from those alleged in the indictment, they did not alter the crime charged. Muntasser and Mubayyid claimed that that "terrorism" evidence admitted to prove the conspiracy charges was so extensive, inflammatory and prejudicial that it must have spilled over into the jury’s consideration of their guilt on other charges.
The appeals court sided with prosecutors in a ruling released Thursday, saying "the jury asked several incisive questions during deliberation that demonstrated its discriminating appraisal of all the evidence."
The case has been sent back to the district court whose judge will sentence Al-Monla and re-sentence Muntasser and Mubayyid.
Their attorneys did not immediately respond to calls for comment.
Muntasser was born in Libya and was the founder of Care International. Mubayyid was born in Lebanon and was the group’s former treasurer. Al-Monla, the group’s president from 1996 to 1998, was born in Kuwait and is a U.S. citizen.
Their charity group, which was not affiliated with the well-known global relief organization CARE International, raised $1.7 million in donations from 1993 to 2001.
Prosecutors acknowledged Care did some legitimate charity work, but said the group concealed non-charitable activities from the government. Prosecutors said, among other things, the men didn’t disclose that Care had ties to the Al-Kifah Refugee Center in New York, which was linked to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

One in five US Muslims knows of extremist support in community

One in five American Muslims knows of support for extremism in their community, new research has found, despite Muslims being far happier about the state of the US than other groups.

As the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks approaches, 21 per cent of respondents told a study they had detected "a great deal" or "a fair deal" of support for extremism in their areas.

While the vast majority said that suicide bombings and other forms of violence against civilians to protect Islam were never justified, 19 per cent of respondents did not agree with this statement.

Peter King, a Republican congressman for New York, said the findings "reinforce the need" for him to continue holding controversial hearings on the radicalisation of American Muslims.

"There is a small percentage of American Muslims who are sympathetic to al-Qaeda. al-Qaeda is trying to recruit them. They are the ones we should be looking for," said Mr King.

The study, by the Pew Research Centre, found 56 per cent of Muslims were "satisfied with the current direction of the country", compared to just 23 per cent of the population at large.

Those two figures have grown further apart since four years ago, when 38 per cent of Muslims and 32 per cent of the general population were content with America's direction.
The study also found that 79 per cent of American Muslims rated their communities as "excellent" or "good" places to live.
However more than half of Muslims said they felt singled out for terrorist surveillance, and 43 per cent said they had personally experienced harassment in the past year.

Radical Muslims warn of another 9/11

Muslim extremists have held a meeting at the heart of the area where the liquid bombers lived in which they warned of a British September 11.

One speaker at the meeting, held on the anniversary of the attacks in America, told the assembled crowd that the West should "listen to the warnings."

The meeting, in front of a 100-strong crowd at a community centre on the Lea Bridge Road in Walthamstow, east London, was also addressed by the exiled preacher Omar Bakri Mohammed via video link from the Lebanon.

His appearance was greeted by cheers of "faith" and "god is great" as he claimed to have foiled a bomb plot against him by agents of the British Government, although much of his speech was inaudible due to technical difficulties.

Walthamstow was home to two of the three members of a gang found guilty of conspiracy to murder. They face a retrial over allegations they were targeting trans-Atlantic flights.

Among the speakers were a number of former members of the banned group al-Muhajiroun, once led by Bakri from his council home in Edmonton, North London.

The most incendiary speech was delivered by Saiful Islam, from Luton, Bedfordshire, who praised Osama bin

Laden and al-Qaeda for their "courage" in retaliating against the "dictatorship and oppression" of the West.

He said: "The blame of 9/11 belongs to no one but the American government. They are the terrorists. Sheikh
Osama warned America numerous times, it was because of their own arrogance, because they thought they are a superpower and nobody could match them, that Sheikh Osama taught them a lesson – a lesson they still haven't learned."
Mr Islam warned that unless British and American troops were withdrawn from "Muslim lands" they would be to blame for the consequences, saying the West would "never achieve security until our own lands achieve security".
"Wake up. Withdraw. Listen to the warnings. Muslims will stand side to side, not just al Qaeda. The actions of the British and Americans have given prominence to al Qaeda. All of us have a part to play in stopping the violence or the next 9/11 will take place in Britain, the next 7/7 could take place locally," he added.
The meeting was led by the lawyer Anjem Choudary under the name of a group called the Association for Islamic Research.
He was the last to speak to the group of largely young Muslim men and criticised the Government for persecuting "innocent Muslims" including Syrian–born Bakri who was banned from re-entering the country in the wake of the July 7 attacks.
He also talked of the defendants in the airliner trial along with the jailed preachers Abu Hamza and Omar Brooks, another of Bakri's followers, as well as Abu Qatada, recently released on bail.
"They [the Government] say they are civilized but they don't act very civilized," Mr Choudary said. "They jailed Sheikh Abu Qatada in Belmarsh prison. Is that the way you treat your guests?"
He spoke against mainstream bodies like the Muslim Council of Britain, who condemned the September 11 and July 7 attacks, accusing them of "selling their souls to the devil".
Mr Choudary talked about the black "flag of Sharia" flying over Downing Street by 2020, saying 500 people a day were converting to Islam.
He laughed that Muslim families in places like Whitechapel and Bethnal Green in east London were having .

US Muslims concerned over Islamophobia as 9/11 and end of Ramadan clash

US Muslim groups have urged law enforcement agencies to be on guard during Eid al-Fitr, the end-of-Ramadan holiday which this year coincides with the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles-based Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), an advocacy group, said local and federal agencies across the country were being asked to remain vigilant during the Eid celebrations.

Edina Lekovic, MPAC communications director, said the warning came because of what she called a "heightened climate of Islamophobia" in recent months, citing protests against plans to build an Islamic centre and mosque in Manhattan, not far from the site of Ground Zero.

"We're seeing consistent cases of protests taking place in front of some mosques organised largely by Islamophobic groups," Ms Lekovic said.

"At this stage it's just a precaution because there are many mosque leaders around the country who are understandably concerned for their congregations and want to be sure that they're taking preventative measures and that law enforcement is on standby if, God forbid, there are any issues that need to be dealt with."

Ms Lekovic emphasised that Ramadan and Eid festivals in the United States usually passed without incident.
 By and large, Ramadan and the Eid holidays are peacefully celebrated by Muslims and ignored by the public," she said.
However the furore over the Ground Zero mosque and cases including a Florida church that has announced plans to hold "International Burn a Koran Day" on September 11 have triggered concerns of possible hate crimes.

"We're asking local police and sheriff's departments to be vigilant as well as federal authorities. We're asking federal authorities to examine cases where there are violent acts against Muslims or mosques," she said
