The MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD plan for world domination

The MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD plan for world domination

The so-called Arab Spring has brought the Muslim Brotherhood to the threshold of power and influence in the Middle East. Their only aim is to control the world with Islam. They know they cannot use force to convert the West, so they use deceit (taqiyya). They have managed to deceive a lot of Western politicians into believing them.

CBN  A Norwegian television documentary, called “Freedom, Equality and the Muslim Brotherhood,” is unmasking the Muslim Brotherhood’s plans for world domination. Walid al-Kubaisi, an Iraqi-born Norwegian journalist, produced and hosted the documentary for Norway television. It has never been shown on American TV.
Al-Kubaisi said Brotherhood leaders told him they have a plan to take over Norway and the rest of Europe as a part of bringing the whole world under Islam.  “The Muslim Brotherhood has a practice. The have learned to speak with two tongues,” he told CBN News.
However, Muslim Brotherhood leaders are quite open about their intentions with those like al-Kubaisi, who traveled to the Middle East and speaks fluent Arabic. “The Muslim Brotherhood’s dream is to form a total Islamic state.”
Al-Kubaisi also interviewed Gamal al-Banna, the brother of Hassan al-Banna, the man who founded of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1928. Al-Banna had surprisingly harsh words for the modern Muslims Brotherhood movement, saying it does not believe in freedom “in any way.” “They do not believe in freedom at all,” he said. “There is no Islamic authority that respects freedom or democracy.” Al-Banna also condemned the state of modern Islamic culture.
Al-Kubaisi saId Norway and the West have been duped by the Muslim Brotherhood. “The West and America both supported Islamists.
But one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s key spiritual leaders, Sheik Yusef al-Qaradawi, said on Arabic TV that “defeating Rome, Italy and Europe means that Islam will come back to Europe.” “I believe Islam will conquer Europe without using violence.”

Barack Hussein Obama is empowering both the decline of America and the rapid advance of radical Islam across the Arab world. Will the mainstream media even notice?

The Arab Spring has turned into an Islamist winter. Contrary to the administration’s claims, the popular uprisings have not led to a rebirth of freedom – the emergence of liberal democracies. Rather, Muslim fundamentalists have used street protests against corrupt, autocratic regimes as a Trojan horse to expand Islamic militancy.

Washington Times  In Tunisia, an Islamist party with ideological ties to Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood is poised to win national elections. Its goal is to repeal the nation’s secular traditions (inherited from the French empire) and erect a Muslim theocracy. Its platform calls for banning alcohol, forcing women to wear the veil and implementing Shariah law. Non-Muslims and women are to be treated as second-class citizens.

Next month, it will be Egypt’s turn to hold elections. The Muslim Brotherhood is expected to gain the largest number of parliamentary seats. Its aim is to restore the global caliphate and return Cairo to the rule of fundamentalist clerics. Its foreign policy is based upon hatred of Israel and America.
The Sinai already has become a sanctuary for terrorists and a staging ground for attacks on Israeli cities. Since the overthrow of strongman Hosni Mubarak, rampaging Muslim mobs have murdered numerous Coptic Egyptians and destroyed Christian churches. More than 100,000 Christian Copts have been expelled – an act of deliberate religious cleansing. About 8 million Copts are left in Egypt. The Brotherhood views them as a “threat” to the “Egyptian nation.” The country could be on the verge of religious and civil war, yet Mr. Obama is shamefully silent about the anti-Christian pogrom taking place.

In Libya, Mr. Obama supported the rebel movement. Col. Moammar Gadhafi lived by the gun; he died by the gun. Gadhafi was a brutal dictator whose bizarre regime turned Libya into a giant prison. No one should shed a tear for that butcher – especially considering his involvement in the 1988 terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, which claimed the lives of 270 people, including many Americans.
The question, however, is what comes after Gadhafi? Because of Mr. Obama’s policies, NATO has armed, trained and financed the creation of an Islamist Libya. Jihadists fill the ranks of the rebels. Many of them were in Iraq and Afghanistan, killing and maiming U.S. soldiers. There are even al Qaeda members among them. Islamic fighters have raided Gadhafi’s military stockpiles and stolen more than 20,000 surface-to-air missiles. Some have found their way into the hands of Hamas; others may be used to shoot down American commercial airliners.

Tripoli’s interim government, the one the administration keeps telling us is “moderate” and “pro-democracy,” has just announced that Libya will be governed strictly by Shariah law. It has legalized Muslim polygamy. It has banned charging interest on loans, forcing banks to be Shariah-compliant. The rebels openly acknowledge that their ideological soul mates are members of the Muslim Brotherhood, not America’s Founding Fathers. Contrary to Mr. Obama’s spin, George Washington has not crossed the Mediterranean. Instead, the Prophet Muhammad has – paid for by U.S. taxpayers and backed by U.S. bombs. The Muslim crescent is on the march.
Still, Mr. Obama’s greatest failure is Iraq. He has ordered all U.S. troops to be withdrawn from that country by the end of the year – except for about 150 soldiers to protect our huge embassy in Baghdad. He is hailing the decision as a fulfillment of his 2008 campaign pledge. It is a betrayal of the more than 4,400 Americans who died in the war as well as the tens of thousands maimed and crippled. A power vacuum will result with Iraq falling under Iran’s sphere of influence. Tehran seeks a Shiite vassal state. It is meddling in internal Iraqi affairs. Iraq is splintering along religious and ethnic lines. Iraqi Christians have been decimated by Islamist insurgents. Iran’s mullahs are on the verge of exporting their radical Shiite revolution – even at the risk of inflaming Iraq’s Sunnis and Kurds. Americans did not bleed to benefit Iran’s fascist theocracy. They fought – and died – to establish a pro-Western Iraq.
Top U.S. generals have warned that the rapid pullout will reverse all of the strategic gains of the 2007 troop surge. This is why they recommended that at least 10,000 troops remain be hind – to train and assist Iraqi national forces and to counter Iranian influence. The Obama administration argues that Baghdad refused to grant immunity to U.S. soldiers from Iraqi prosecution while serving there. Hence, Washington could never agree to such conditions. Yet, had the White House pushed harder and cultivated better relations with our Kurdish allies in northern Iraq, Baghdad would have capitulated. America then could establish several military bases, especially in Iraqi Kurdistan, from which to project regional power.
Instead, Iran’s mullahs have won. Once Tehran acquires the nuclear bomb, it will be able to blackmail its neighbors, dominate the region and impose a stranglehold over the world’s oil supply. The trend is clear: American power is in retreat. In its wake are the new invading barbarians.
Like emperors in the final days of Rome, our leaders can pretend that the barbarians pose no imminent threat. Everyone knows, however, that Mr. Obama is simply managing America’s decline. His warm embrace of the Arab Spring as a pro-democracy movement simply camouflages the sad reality of our time: The Islamists are rising, threatening freedom wherever they tread.

thousands of Muslims rally against "extremism" in London

from Jihad Watch

Our troubles are over: thousands of Muslims rally against "extremism" in London

For years non-Muslims have been asking where moderate Muslims in any significant numbers are actually speaking out against Islamic jihad and Islamic supremacism. And now here they finally are.
Much as I hate to be the one to throw a rotting cabbage onto the sofa, I must yet again point out that Qadri "says killing innocents is forbidden in Islam," but who defines who is "innocent"? Islamic jihadists believe that "non-Muslims are never innocent, they are guilty of denying Allah and his prophet." So if they believe that non-Muslims are never innocent, a Muslim who declares that killing innocents is forbidden in Islam is not going to stop them from mounting attacks against non-Muslims.
And what do they mean by fighting "extremism"? Last year Qadri published a fatwa against terrorism and suicide bombings. "Terrorism," of course, is a tactic, and as liberally as the term is applied in common usage, condemning it doesn't tell us a whole lot. After all, nobody likes terrorism. Abbas at the UN on Friday condemned terrorism, "especially state terrorism," by which he meant that he was condemning the actions of Israel, not of Islamic jihadists. Qadri really is referring to Islamic terrorism, evidently, but what about the jihad imperative to impose Sharia? He said yesterday: "I want to address those who are lost, who have a total misconception of jihad -- I want to send them a message -- come back to normal life. Whatever you're doing is totally against Islam." Do those who have a proper conception of jihad still wish to work in non-violent ways to impose Sharia and subjugate non-Muslims?
Qadri is a member of the Barelvi movement, a Sufi-tinged form of Islam that originated in India and has been violently persecuted by Islamic hardliners. His membership in a group that is considered by the larger body of Muslims to be of doubtful orthodoxy at best makes it unlikely that his stands will gain wide acceptance. And al-Qaeda even infiltrated his anti-terror summer camp.
"Muslims rally against Islamic extremism: London gathering of thousands intended to promote inclusive vision," by Sylvia Hu for the Associated Press, September 25 (thanks to all who sent this in):
LONDON — Thousands of Muslims gathered at a rally in London on Saturday to fight extremism and promote a moderate, inclusive version of Islam. The event’s organizers Minhaj-ul-Qur’an International say some 12,000 Muslims are expected at Wembley Arena. The event will be broadcast live to dozens of countries around the world.
The group’s founder, the Pakistan-born Islamic scholar Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, says killing innocents is forbidden in Islam and Muslims must integrate into the societies in which they’re living.
Some Islamic scholars have warned that a power vacuum in North Africa and the Middle East could lead to militant and extremist groups gaining ground in elections arising from the so-called Arab Spring.
"If these elements come into power, it will be a big disaster," Tahir-ul-Qadri told The Associated Press.
Minhaj-ul-Qur’an International says it represents a moderate vision of Islam that works for peace and integration....

Swedish security police raid mosque, possibly in connection with earlier counter-terror arrests

Curiously, terrorism charges against those who were arrested "were later changed to preparing murder [,] and the prosecutor said it related only to one individual." It is not entirely clear from the wording of that sentence whether the defendants were believed to be targeting only one person, or if only one of the three is to face the most severe charges.
However, one will recall that earlier reports focused on Muhammad cartoonist Lars Vilks as a possible target, and an arts center was evacuated on the night of an event Vilks had at one point stated that he would attend.
"Swedish security police raid mosque in Goteborg," from the Associated Press, September 18:
STOCKHOLM (AP) — Sweden's security police raided the administrative office of a mosque in the country's second largest city , the force said on Sunday. Security police spokeswoman Sirpa Franzen said Thursday's raid against the Bellevue Mosque in Goteborg was prompted by prosecutor Agnetha Hilding Qvarnstrom, who heads the investigation against three men arrested on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in the United States.
Mosque officials weren't immediately available for comments.
Franzen declined to say if the raid was connected to the arrests and wouldn't give more details. The force only confirmed the operation, following a report in a GT tabloid.
The men, of Somali and Iraqi origin, were arrested as around 400 people were evacuated from an arts center and were initially suspected of plotting a terrorist attack. However, the charges were later changed to preparing murder and the prosecutor said it related only to one individual....

Obama Creates Political 'Cyber-Bunker' For Political War Machine
Obama for America and the Democratic National Committee paid a combined $1.04 million to Bully Pulpit Interactive, which is handling online ads for both groups.

Other Online Strategies

(Washington Times) - On digital battleground, Obama is armed and dangerous. ‘Data geniuses’ deploy online strategies. Obama for America campaign staffers work at headquarters, a 55,000-square-foot office in a high-rise in downtown Chicago. Specialists in digital media work side by side with field operators, Web designers and phone-bank volunteers.

The integration of employees with digital expertise together with more traditional political campaign staff is now standard operating procedure.

President Obama holds the early advantage in the digital campaign for re-election, but his Republican challengers aren’t ceding any ground in the race to gain an edge through social media and other online strategies.

At the Obama for America campaign headquarters in a skyscraper near Millennium Park, the emphasis on digital is everywhere. At one cluster of desks, 10 or so casually dressed young men with expertise in digital media brainstorm about the “next big thing” — perhaps the successor to Twitter — that the campaign will deploy to attract supporters and donors.

“They can focus on the general election, and they’ve raised a ton of money,” said Alex Lundry, vice president and research director at TargetPoint Consulting, a data-mining firm that works with Republicans. “That allows them to do more.”

Throughout Obama for America’s 50,000-square-foot office, specialists in digital media work side by side with field operators, Web designers and phone-bank volunteers. The integration of employees with digital expertise together with more traditional political campaign staff is now standard operating procedure.

“We’re getting organized; we’re getting very organized,” said Katie Hogan, the campaign’s deputy press secretary who was standing near empty desks soon to be occupied by new hires. The campaign recently put out a call for “analysts and data geniuses.”

Mr. Obama passed another e-milestone this week by becoming the nation’s first commander in chief to open an account with the location-based social networking service Foursquare.

The account was announced on the White House blog Monday evening and has been put to use to “check in” and post “tips” and video on Mr. Obama’s bus tour to small towns in Iowa and Minnesota. Within a day of opening the account, Mr. Obama had 11,000 Foursquare followers.

Joe Rospars, the campaign’s chief digital strategist, said in a recruiting email that Obama for America “will wage the most innovative and effective digital campaign in history, a team that will not just surpass but demolish our fundraising, communications, and organizing goals.”

Despite Mr. Obama’s head start in online operations, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus said the president won’t have the same advantage as in 2008 because he is no longer the new candidate on the block.

“Obama also had a movement in ‘08,” Mr. Priebus told The Washington Times in a recent interview. “In politics, a movement transcends everything. We had a movement in 2010, and look what happened. You can’t just rest your future in politics on what are you doing for social media.”

But Mr. Lundry, who is not affiliated with a presidential campaign, said Mr. Obama’s re-election operation is moving ahead ambitiously to analyze reams of data from various online sources and translating them into ways to gain donations and voters.

“What’s different is they’re doing it in-house,” Mr. Lundry said. “Every component of the organization is sharing data liberally. Compared with four years ago, people are getting better at collecting data, analyzing it and linking it. That’s where Obama is going, and that’s where [Republicans] are going.”

Mr. Obama, the first presidential candidate to fully exploit social media such as Facebook and Twitter, is able to build off an email list of about 9 million followers amassed during the 2008 campaign. In the second quarter of this year, Obama for America and the Democratic National Committee paid a combined $1.04 million to Bully Pulpit Interactive, which is handling online ads for both groups.

Obama for American paid another $400,000 to Blue State Digital, another online operation co-founded by Mr. Rospars.

In the Republican field, the campaign of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney led in spending on digital media in the second quarter with about $330,000. The next closest was the campaign of former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, who didn’t crack the $100,000 mark and who is now out of the race.

Mr. Lundry, who worked for Mr. Romney’s campaign in 2008 and whose firm is working with him again, said Mr. Romney has “clearly the only data-driven campaign on the Republican side.”

Republicans are working on several fronts to match the Obama campaign’s online prowess, although their effort isn’t as coordinated as the Democrats’ because the GOP is months away from choosing its nominee.

Mr. Romney’s campaign has hired Zac Moffatt, formerly a partner at the Republican digital agency Targeted Victory, as the campaign’s digital director. Mr. Moffatt worked for the RNC in 2008 and led the successful digital campaign in 2010 for Senate candidate Marco Rubio, Florida Republican. In the Romney campaign, he leads a stand-alone department at the same level as a traditional communications director or political strategist.

The RNC’s Mr. Priebus described himself as an avid fan of social media and of the political potential of online means of communicating with donors and supporters.

He recounted how the RNC is working with partners in Silicon Valley to roll out a social media application called Way In, which Mr. Priebus described as a combination of “real-time polling and real-time ‘friend’ connections” to allow the GOP to communicate interactively with supporters.

“I think it’s going to take the country by storm,” he said. “It’s more of a social media tool for us to use in communicating with our base, with social media folks, with the youth, with whoever wants to use the tool. We’re thinking of everything that we can do to be better in the social media and digital world.”

Muslims wonder why so many muslims are on the NO-FLY list?

Muslims wonder why so many muslims are on the NO-FLY list?

The calls have reached a point of repetitive regularity for muslim civil rights lawyer Gadeir Abbas: A young muslim-American, somewhere in the world, is barred from boarding an airplane. (And this is a bad thing, because why?)

The exact reasons are never fully articulated, but the reality is clear. The traveler has been placed on the government’s terror watchlist—or the more serious no-fly list—and clearing one’s name becomes a legal and bureaucratic nightmare.
On Monday Abbas sent letters to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and FBI Director Robert Mueller requesting assistance for his two most recent clients. One is a resident of Portland, Ore. who is trying to fly to Italy to live with his mother. The other, a teenager and U.S. citizen living in Jordan, has been unable to travel to Connecticut to lead prayers at a mosque.
“All American citizens have the unqualified right to reside in the United States,” Abbas wrote Monday in a letter to secretary of State Hillary Clinton seeking a change in status for the client in Jordan.
Abbas, a lawyer with the Terrorist Front Group CAIR Council on American-Islamic Relations, tries to piece together the reason why a client has been placed on the list. (Gee, let me guess) Perhaps a person has a similar name to a known terrorist. Maybe their travels to Yemen or some other Middle East hot spot have garnered suspicion. Maybe they told the FBI to take a hike when they requested an interview. (All valid reasons to keep muslims off planes)

Ultimately, though, the reasons are almost irrelevant. From Abbas’ perspective, the placement on the no-fly list amounts to a denial of a traveler’s basic rights: U.S. citizens can’t return home from overseas vacations, children are separated from parents, and those under suspicion are denied the basic due process rights that would allow them to clear their name. (Good!)
Abbas describes the security bureaucracy as Kafkaesque, a labyrinthine maze of overlapping agencies, all of which refuse to provide answers unless they are threatened with legal action. One lawsuit is still pending in federal court in Alexandria, Va. That case has followed what has become a familiar pattern: Abbas either files a lawsuit or exposes the case to public scrutiny through the media, and within a few days the individual in question is able to travel. Government officials then ask a judge to dismiss any lawsuits that were filed, saying the cases are now moot.
“The amount of people who experience tragic, life-altering travel delays is significant,” said Abbas, who estimates he gets a call at least once a month from a Muslim American in dire straits because their travel has been restricted. (Life altering? Dire straits? Oh please, so what if they miss their pilgrimage to Mecca?)
Government officials, of course, see it differently. They say they have a Traveler Redress Inquiry Program that lets people wrongly placed on the no-fly list, or the much broader terrorist watchlist, fix their circumstances. More broadly, the government has argued in court that placing somebody on the no-fly list does not deprive them of any constitutional rights. Just because a person can’t fly doesn’t mean they can’t travel, the government lawyers argue. They can always take a boat, for example. (Or a camel)

“Neither Plaintiff nor any other American citizen has either a right to international travel or a right to travel by airplane,” government lawyers wrote in their defense against a lawsuit by another of Abbas’ clients. The teenager from Virginia had found himself stuck in Kuwait after suspicions about has travel to Somalia apparently landed him on the no-fly list.
Exactly how many people are on the government’s lists is unclear. Some of the most recent estimates, from late 2009, state that about 400,000 individuals are on the “watchlist,” which requires a “reasonable suspicion” that the person is known or suspected to be engaged in terrorist activities. A much smaller number—about 14,000—is on the “selectee list,” meaning they will likely have to undergo rigorous screening to travel. And officials estimated that 3,400 individuals, including roughly 170 U.S. residents, are on the no-fly list.
Michael Migliore was told by security officials last month that he is on the no-fly list after he tried to take a flight from Portland, Ore., to Italy following his college graduation. Migliore, 23, a Muslim, suspects he was placed on the no-fly list after he refused to talk to the FBI without a lawyer in November 2010, when the bureau was investigating an acquaintance charged in a plot to detonate bomb at a Christmas tree lighting ceremony. (They should let him fly…after they deport him)
In another case, an 18 year-old U.S. citizen living in Jordan with his parents was bounced from an EgyptAir flight to New York. Amr Abulrub had planned to lead

Amr Abualrub, radical muslim "scholar"
Ramadan prayers at a Connecticut mosque. After a few days of confusion, Abulrub learned from airline officials that the U.S. government had instructed EgyptAir to cancel his ticket. U.S. embassy officials in Amman have subsequently told Abulrub he can travel under certain restrictions, including a requirement that his flight to the U.S. be booked on an American airline. But Abulrub is leery of traveling at all for fear that he won’t be allowed to go back to Jordan. (The U.S. is where he shouldn’t be allowed to return)

Abulrub’s father, Jalal Abulrub, suspects his son has come to the attention of U.S. authorities because of his own writings. Jalal is a Salafist scholar who has sometimes written provocative articles and antagonized Christian evangelists he believed were disrespectful to Muslims. While Jalal says his family is Salafist—generally considered a fundamentalist sect of Islam—he is quick to point out that he has a long history of writing in opposition to the ideology espoused by Osama bin laden and al-Qaida. (Yeah, sure he did)
“I am not going to let this go,” Jalal said, referring to his son’s inability to travel. “We don’t allow anyone to oppress us.” (Then get out of this country if you don’t like it)

HEY MUSLIMS! If you want to stop Islamophobia, STOP behaving like muslims

UK muslims asking people to sign a petition against Islamophobia. But they’re only asking muslims to sign.

One muslim man has the right idea. He tells them that muslim women covering their faces is a stupid idea because it scares people.

Al-Qaeda in Yemen trying to produce explosives with deadly ricin poison

American counterterrorism officials are increasingly concerned that the most dangerous regional arm of Al Qaeda is trying to produce the lethal poison ricin, to be packed around small explosives for attacks against the United States.

NY TIMES – For more than a year, according to classified intelligence reports, Al Qaeda’s affiliate in Yemen has been making efforts to acquire large quantities of castor beans, which are required to produce ricin, a white, powdery toxin that is so deadly that just a speck can kill if it is inhaled or reaches the bloodstream.
Intelligence officials say they have collected evidence that Qaeda operatives are trying to move castor beans and processing agents to a hideaway in Shabwa Province, in one of Yemen’s rugged tribal areas controlled by insurgents. The officials say the evidence points to efforts to secretly concoct batches of the poison, pack them around small explosives, and then try to explode them in contained spaces, like a shopping mall, an airport or a subway station.
Senior American officials say they are tracking the possibility of a threat very closely, given the Yemeni affiliate’s proven ability to devise plots, including some thwarted only at the last minute: a bomb sewn into the underwear of a Nigerian man aboard a commercial jetliner to Detroit in December 2009, and printer cartridges packed with powerful explosives in cargo bound for Chicago 10 months later.
“The potential threat of weapons of mass destruction, likely in a simpler form than what people might imagine but still a form that would have a significant psychological impact, from Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula in Yemen, is very, very real,” Michael E. Leiter, who retired recently as director of the National Counterterrorism Center, said at a security conference last month. “It’s not hard to develop ricin.”
The ricin plots believed to be emanating from Yemen are the latest example of terrorists’ desire to obtain and deploy unconventional weapons in attacks. In 1995, the Aum Shinrikyo cult released sarin nerve gas on underground trains in Tokyo, killing 12 people and injuring more than 5,000, and nearly paralyzing one of the world’s leading economies for weeks.

If you long to be free...

If you long to be free...

If you are thinking of leaving Islam, be wary, be careful. Do not tell your Muslim friends or family. The Qur'an commands your death for leaving Islam (4:89 calls for the murder of renegades from the faith), and Muhammad is explicit in a hadith: "If anyone changes his religion, kill him" (Bukhari). Many, many 'honor killings' have been committed for "crimes" that are in Islamic law considered far less serious than leaving Islam.
Think you're safe in America? Rifqa Bary has been threatened numerous times for leaving Islam. Rashad Khalifa was murdered by Islamic supremacists in Arizona in the early 1990s -- because of his "heretical" teachings. If you doubt that you're in danger in America, be aware that apostates have been threatened or murdered in recent years in Afghanistan, Egypt, Pakistan, Somalia and elsewhere. It doesn't matter how free or open your country's society is: the law of Islam recognizes no national borders.
If you fear for your life, contact info@avoiceforthepersecuted.com. If you are unsure of how your family or community will respond to your admitting that you're leaving, don't take chances. Write to Pamela Geller at writeatlas@aol.com or Robert Spencer at director@jihadwatch.org. If you need immediate protection from a threat, call the police immediately.

Probe into secretive Sharia law courts scrapped as Muslim leaders close ranks

Strict: Posters east London warn passers-by that they are entering a zone where Islamic rules are 'enforced'
Ministers have abandoned an inquiry into the rise of secretive Sharia councils that deal in Islamic justice – because the Muslim courts refused to help.
The failure of the Ministry of Justice probe has generated new fears among politicians and pressure groups about the increasing influence of Sharia courts.
They are worried the courts' decisions may run against the law of the land, particularly in divorce settlements for women.
The scrapping of the inquiry comes in a week when Islamic extremists have launched a campaign to declare 'Sharia-controlled zones' across Britain.
Hate preacher Anjem Choudary has claimed responsibility for the scheme, which has so far seen posters put on lampposts in several London boroughs declaring that within the 'zones' there should be 'no gambling', 'no music or concerts', 'no porn or prostitution', 'no drugs or smoking' and 'no alcohol'.
The Daily Mail has previously published photographs of Choudary in his student days breaking all but one of the zone laws – holding a cannabis joint, downing a pint of cider, playing cards and leering at porn.
But the abandonment of the Government's Sharia inquiry has fuelled fears that such radicals will be able to continue their intimidating activities unchecked.
The Ministry of Justice had launched an inquiry into the operation of Sharia courts in Britain because of rising fears that the secretive system has undue influence.
The number of Sharia courts here is unknown, although an estimate of 85 made by the Civitas think-tank in 2009 is widely accepted.

The failure of the Government's investigation was disclosed to MPs by Justice Minister Jonathan Djanogly.
He told Tory backbencher Kris Hopkins that before last year's general election his department acted to 'commission an exploratory study of Sharia councils in England with respect to family law'.
Mr Djanogly said: 'This identified a number of challenges to undertaking robust research in this area. The study was therefore limited and adds little to the evidence base.
'The findings cannot be regarded as a representative assessment of the operation of Sharia councils. Following expert peer review of the draft report, the Ministry of Justice decided not to publish the findings.'
A further statement to the Mail made it clear the 'challenges' researchers experienced boiled down to the Sharia courts failing to co-operate.

The Ministry of Justice said: 'The report was essentially an exploratory study which identified a number of challenges to undertaking more robust research.
'The challenges to undertaking more robust research were that the councils are generally run on a volunteer basis, were short staffed and very busy, so there were practical difficulties in speaking with respondents.
'There was also reluctance to discuss the private work of the councils and respondents were wary of the stereotypical ways in which their organisations were represented in the media.'
Sharia law is also under scrutiny in the Lords, where the independent peer Baroness Cox has tabled a Bill seeking to make it a crime for anyone to take over the rights of the state's criminal or family courts.

Murdering baby girls

They would sooner kill these baby girls than give them up for adoption. Are the Islamic adoption laws that the child must be raised Muslim adhered to in other Muslim countries (like Morocco) enforced in Pakistan as well?
And even that is not halal. There is no adoption in Islam. Muhammad wanted to marry his beautiful daughter-in-law. His adopted son divorced her, but people still talked -- saying Muhammad was overcome by lust. So he got a revelation: adoption was illegitimate. The adopted son (Zaid) was never his son at all, and should stop calling himself Zaid bin Muhammad -- he went back to being Zaid bin Haritha, the name of his birth father.
Islam infanticde

Wrapped inside each small sack is the corpse of an infant.
The babies are victims of what one relief agency calls Pakistan's worst unfolding tragedy: the killing and dumping of newborns.
"Sometimes they hang them, and sometimes they kill by the knife, and sometimes we find bodies which have been burned," said Anwar Kazmi, a manager at Edhi Foundation, Pakistan's largest privately run social service and relief agency.
Records at Edhi Foundation show that more than 1,200 newborns were killed and dumped in Pakistan last year, an increase of about 200 from the previous year.
Families view many of these children as illegitimate in a [Islamic] culture that condemns those born outside of marriage.
Statistics show that roughly nine out of 10 are baby girls, which families may consider too costly to keep in a country where women frequently are not allowed to work.
The babies are usually just days old. Their corpses are often dumped in Karachi's sprawling garbage dumps, where they're sometimes mutilated by street animals, Kazmi said. He estimates that hundreds of baby corpses are never found.
[..] The killing of newborns gets little attention in Pakistan, and rarely are they investigated by a police force that's often poorly trained, lacks resources and stays focused on what's perceived to be more important crimes.
